Sozopol is the oldest town on the Black Sea coast and is situated 34 km south east of Bourgas. The town lies on a small rocky peninsula in the farthest southern area of the bay and a 100 m long strip of land connects it to the mainland. The sandy beaches of Kavaci and Budjaka are within a 15 min walk of the apartment where there are many great shops, bars and restaurants.
Sozopol is one of the trendiest places along the Black Sea coast and although property prices there fell as well in the last year or so they did not fall as much as in other parts of the coast.
